Dr. Emmel earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Florida in 2007 and his Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Florida in 2015. He has over 20 years of pharmacy experience in the community, hospital, and industry settings. He has extensive experience collaborating with pharmacy technicians and working to improve the medication use system. Dr. Emmel has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor for Master’s and Doctoral level pharmacy programs. He is a highly sought after consultant for health system quality and medication use improvement. Dr. Emmel has served as Pharmacy Tech Scholar℠'s program director since founding the program's launch in 2020.
