Your use of https://pharmacytechscholar.com and the Pharmacy Tech Scholar Learning Management System portals and all features constitutes your agreement to all such Terms. Please read these terms carefully and keep a copy of them for your reference.
Pharmacy Tech Scholar provides education and resources for current and aspiring pharmacy technicians. These terms of use apply to use of our website and participation in any of our educational programs. Any subsequent terms of use that the user acknowledges in the MatrixLMS platform supersede these terms.
Your use of https://pharmacytechscholar.com and https://learn.pharmacytechscholar.com is subject to Pharmacy Tech Scholar’s Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs the Site and informs users of our data collection practices.
Visiting https://pharmacytechscholar.com, the Pharmacy Tech Scholar Learning Management System, or sending emails to Pharmacy Tech Scholar constitutes electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically, via email and on the Site, satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
Students who enrolled in the 120-Hours to CPhT by Pharmacy Tech Scholar program prior to 9am EST on May 27, 2025, are enrolled in the “legacy” platform. Additionally, all bulk licenses purchased prior to 9am on May 27, 2025 are useable in our legacy platform. Pharmacy Tech Scholar has launched a new version of the 120-Hours to CPhT by Pharmacy Tech Scholar program as of May 27, 2025 at 9am EST. The new program is hosted on the Matrix LMS platform at learn.pharmacytechscholar.com.
Pharmacy Tech Scholar will sunset the legacy platform on March 31, 2026. On this date, all student data, including enrollment and course completion information, will be securely migrated to offline storage for recordkeeping purposes according to the Pharmacy Tech Scholar information security policy. Students in the legacy platform will continue to have access to the platform for 6-months from the date of enrollment, and will be able to renew for continued access if needed until the sunset date of March 31, 2026. On and after March 31, 2026, students will no longer be able to access their legacy account or complete the legacy program.
Legacy students will be offered the opportunity to move to the new platform at no additional cost and must decide before November 30, 2025. Due to the content and technical differences between the platforms, progress on the legacy platform will not carry over to the new platform. New platform accounts and access to the 120-Hours to CPhT by Pharmacy Tech Scholar program will be treated as new enrollments and subject to the Pharmacy Tech Scholar Terms of Use accordingly.
If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You may not assign or otherwise transfer your account to any other person or entity. You acknowledge that Pharmacy Tech Scholar is not responsible for third party access to your account that results from theft or misappropriation of your account. Pharmacy Tech Scholar and its associates reserve the right to refuse or cancel service, terminate accounts, or remove or edit content in our sole discretion.
You can access the 120-hours to CPhT by Pharmacy Tech Scholar and any bundled resources for 6 months from the date of purchase. Your access to the course will expire at the end of the 6-month period. Students have the option to enroll in a membership plan at the end of the 6-month period should they desire to continue to access the course and any bundled resources.
Our course is designed to be a self-study, self-paced online program. By enrolling in our course, you are attesting that you are in fact the person taking the entirety of the course. This includes completing each e-learning module, required reading, and examinations. You are also attesting that you are not allowing anyone else to complete any aspect of the course on your behalf, nor are you completing any aspect of the course on someone else’s behalf.
Pharmacy Tech Scholar is not responsible for any misrepresentation or fraudulent activity conducted by any member of its website. If you are using this site and partake in any fraudulent activity, including through this site or during the application process for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam, you are solely responsible for any civil, criminal, or professional penalties that may result.
Violation of these terms may result in account cancellation without refund and a report of the incident to the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.
Pharmacy Tech Scholar does not knowingly collect, either online or offline, personal information from persons under the age of thirteen. If you are under 18, you may use https://pharmacytechscholar.com only with permission of a parent or guardian.
Organizations that have purchased bulk licenses are not eligible for cancellation or refunding of licenses unless explicitly agreed upon in contract language or invoicing. There is a strict no refund policy for PTCB vouchers and for monthly membership fees. Students that purchase a Pharmacy Tech Scholar bundle that includes the PTCB vouchers will receive a refund equivalent to the cost of the individual discounted course price within that bundle if they are eligible for a refund per the terms to follow:
For individuals who have purchased the Pharmacy Tech Scholar course:
You may cancel your subscription at any time. If you have not received your course certificate, you are eligible for a full refund if you cancel within 7 days of purchase. Any cancellations made after 7 days of service will not qualify for a refund unless all of the following criteria are met:
1. You complete the course within 180 days of purchase and receive your course certificate. 2. The time that elapses between completing the first chapter in the program and receiving your course certificate is greater than 3 weeks, indicating that you have potentially dedicated the requisite amount of time required for gaining knowledge from our program. 3. You take the Pharmacy Technician Certification exam after receiving your course certificate but do not pass the exam. 4. You send a copy of your notice of not passing the PTCE to [email protected] within 365 days of your original course enrollment date.
In this scenario, you may either elect to receive a complimentary renewal of the course for an additional 180 days or a full refund and cancellation of the course membership. To elect either of these options, you must indicate your request in an email to [email protected].
Refunds will not be provided to students who have violated any of the terms described on this page.
Our course is recognized by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board as an official training program. Accordingly, passing our course will make you eligible to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE). This does not indicate that passing our course will make you eligible to practice as a pharmacy technician. Each State Board of Pharmacy has specific requirements related to eligibility to practice as a pharmacy technician. These requirements can include, but are not limited to, any combination of licensure, board certification, and fulfillment of stringent training programs or other practice experiences. Please familiarize yourself with the requirements in the state(s) in which you are seeking to practice as a pharmacy technician. This course is intended to provide you with the didactic knowledge required of a certified pharmacy technician but is not purporting to make you eligible to practice as a pharmacy technician. Our program is not accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and we do not hold any state or federal accreditations as an educational institution.
While we make every effort to ensure the information included in our course is accurate, it is not intended to serve as a reference for the practice of a pharmacy technician. Additionally, our course does not include any simulated or experiential training and therefore is not intended to prepare the user for independent practice as a pharmacy technician. Users of our course must seek and attain on-the-job training prior to practicing independently as a pharmacy technician.
Activities of pharmacy technicians are governed by federal laws, state laws, rules and regulations, and/or pharmacy practice acts set at the state level, generally by a board of pharmacy. By accepting these terms of use, the user acknowledges that he or she must be familiar with and abide by those laws and regulations.
