This course is perfect to gain knowledge and to prepare you for the PTCB exam. It is very easy to understand and the exams after every module are good to measure how much you are learning about each topic. I recommend this course to everyone who wants to be ready for the PTCB exam and become a Pharm Tech.

everything was easy to follow, and the additional resources are great I found almost everything relatively easy to understand until the calculations section. I am alright when it comes to math, but I could not follow along for the life of me. the exam questions had more advanced questions than what is in the video. i even went to the YouTube videos and saw every single one but none of them covered converting mcg. there must be something I am missing because i had to look up separate videos just to attempt the exam questions. maybe it would be better if the w/w, w/v, and v/v section was more explained and how to convert them to answer the question because that’s where I kept getting stuck. i was having to search up equivalents on google to answer some of them. anyways i absolutely loved everything else i think its an awesome program that covers everything with amazing timely lectures. perfect amount of time for a self paced class as well i might add.

This course is extremely well organized and easy to understand. Information is presented clearly and efficiently, without unnecessary detail or confusion. Dr. Emmel makes himself very available and truly wants to see everyone succeed not only in the course, but in their careers as a PhT.

Choppy but somewhat detailed

I really enjoyed this course. Extremely organized, well-written and easy to follow. Dr. Emmel is super helpful and you can contact him anytime and be in constant communication if need be.

The course of was more then what its worth, it both helps with what to do with the PTCE and as well as working for a pharmacy environment, both in a retail and in a hospital setting.

I thrive off of visual based learning like this course provides. It’s also very helpful that in the quizzes I can see what questions I got wrong and why they were wrong. Definitely a must have program when studying for the PTCE.

Sometimes I’d forget that I was learning. Our instructor was a fount of knowledge. Someone who clearly enjoys teaching the subject and has an actual passion for it. That vibe was contagious and made the course that much more interesting to me.
