This course led me completely by surprise. The lectures are simplistic and easy to follow. Everything is broken up into reasonably sized videos, and the benchmarks get easier to pass as the course continues. You can do as much or as little as you like per day and still get through well under the average time slot.

I found the information in this course to be organized, well-written, informative, and easily navigable. I have reached out to the leader of this course and haven’t received a message back so maybe the feedback time could be improved.

Overall, I found this course to be very in-depth and informative, which upon completion, has made me feel like I am ready to take the PTCE. Particularly, I enjoyed the self-paced nature of the course, allowing you to progress at the rhythm which you feel the most comfortable and that results in your highest benefit. When it comes to the required readings for each chapter, they tend to overlap and reiterate the information from the lecture, which I personally did not mind since repetition is a good way to memorize important concepts. My critique would be that the additional information which these readings present is not covered in the end of chapter exams, making it feel like only watching the lecture is necessary for completing said exam, even if that additional information is interesting and insightful.

Overall very comprehensive, certain typos or errors here and there but practice sets are extremely helpful

This course is well organized to understand and learn new materials easily. As I studied on each chapter, I became more curious about the topic and was able to concentrate.

The Pharmacy Tech Scholar program is well planned out. The content is broken down into “digestible” bites and explained in a manner that is easy to understand. I highly recommend the program to anyone looking to get their certification.

I was fortunate enough to work in a pharmacy before signing up for this course, so a lot of the beginning material was very familiar to me. But there was so much still to learn and I was grateful for it! I loved the format, it reminded me a lot of my virtual high school back in Florida. I was also grateful for all the extra reading material. You won’t feel like you’re behind on anything. And there are so many sources I can still use. I wasn’t able to attend live lessons as I had a part time afternoon job, but definitely recommend attending as much as possible. I would’ve liked the lessons to be a little more interactive, like when the instructor is explaining a term or object it would be nice to be able to hover over the term and read a description. The videos are very effective, but I think being more involved in the lesson can help with retaining the information more. Nevertheless, I had plenty of notes! I wouldn’t go into Pharmacy Tech Scholar thinking you’ll the course in under three months. Life will come up and you’ll want to be patient with yourself. The course will be open for longer than three months so you’ll have time to go back and study up if you need to. I skipped to the Simulation Exam before I wrote this review and I’m glad I did. I can confidently say I passed the simulation exam and now I feel even more ready to take the real life exam! Thank you to Aaron Emmel for curating this course and being available for anything and everything!

I would love to thank the pharmacist for creating this course in a way to help people of all backgrounds learn to be excellent technicians. I have learned so much from this course at such a low price. I will be forever grateful for the time I had spent reviewing and studying for the PTCE. This place is totally recommendation for all those who wish to be techs.

This is an excellent course. I belive the medicine chapters need to be reworked into a format which is easier for the students to retain the information. I am still struggling with this information. I think connecting the meds clearly to the things they treat is helpful but it is not clear enough. When you see 6 drugs which say they all treat the same thing it is hard to retain them because there are not distinctions except the names. Also fixing brand name along with generic name is really hard to do. The rest of the course is much easier to accomplish than the first module. It is a major part of the course. This is because it is so much the same thing over and over again. I am thinking how to make this easier to learn and still haven’t come up with a major new idea but I will keep thinking on it.

other than that part the course is very good and I learned a lot. AS I got to the end since I already work in a pharmacy it was much easier because the hands on experience was already in place to give a more comprehensive learning experience.
