The course went quite in-depth, but I found that it could have used a bit more of an interactive format than a similar one for every module, particularly for the top 200 medications, although that could just be that I have trouble with this format for memorizing a lot of info.

I appreciate the live/recorded calls to go more in depth and answer any questions. I’ve also liked getting a sneak peek at the updated course to come. I would say it would be helpful to further break down the medications. I appreciated that I could jump between sections when my brain couldn’t handle any more medication names so I could make progress with the course. I’d still keep it to where the final exams are still required before taking the next modules exam.

Looking forward to finalize my studying and get ready for my exam!

PharmacyTechScholar was exactly what I needed to prepare for the PTCE at my own pace. The course is clear, well-organized, and full of relevant content that directly aligns with the exam. I appreciated the detailed explanations after each quiz and the ability to go back and review anything I didn’t fully understand.

The videos were easy to follow and not overwhelming, and the study guides were incredibly helpful for reviewing key material. I especially liked how the course broke down complicated topics like pharmacy law and drug classifications into manageable sections.

If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would be to include a few more interactive practice exams that mimic the timing and format of the actual PTCE. But overall, this course was an amazing value and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to become a certified pharmacy technician.

This course was a little of a refresher for me since I’m already licensed but I feel that I’ve learned new things and feel confident about my nationals exam.

This course was highly informational, and extremely easy to use/learn. With a small background in the medical field, I found that even someone coming in with zero prior knowledge would excel in this course. Every chapter was very descriptive, and easy to understand.

Dr. Emmel is also amazing! He had fast response time getting back to me when I needed him, and is always there to help.

This course was very informative and very easy to navigate. I feel as if this is a great option for people who believe they don’t have enough time for a full-time course. The self-paced access is by far the best part. This course helped me gain knowledge in a steady amount of time. Although I have healthcare experience I recommend this course to people who don’t. This course led me completely by surprise. The lectures are simplistic and easy to follow. Everything is broken up into reasonably sized videos, and the benchmarks get easier to pass as the course continues. You can do as much or as little as you like per day and still get through well under the average time slot.

I found the information in this course to be organized, well-written, informative, and easily navigable. I have reached out to the leader of this course and haven’t received a message back so maybe the feedback time could be improved.

Overall, I found this course to be very in-depth and informative, which upon completion, has made me feel like I am ready to take the PTCE. Particularly, I enjoyed the self-paced nature of the course, allowing you to progress at the rhythm which you feel the most comfortable and that results in your highest benefit. When it comes to the required readings for each chapter, they tend to overlap and reiterate the information from the lecture, which I personally did not mind since repetition is a good way to memorize important concepts. My critique would be that the additional information which these readings present is not covered in the end of chapter exams, making it feel like only watching the lecture is necessary for completing said exam, even if that additional information is interesting and insightful.
