Affordable and recommended
The course of was more then what its worth, it both helps with what to do with the PTCE and as well as working for a pharmacy environment, both in a retail and in a hospital setting.
Studying made easier.
I thrive off of visual based learning like this course provides. It’s also very helpful that in the quizzes I can see what questions I got wrong and why they were wrong. Definitely a must have program when studying for the PTCE.
Extremely Knowledgeable Instructor
Sometimes I’d forget that I was learning. Our instructor was a fount of knowledge. Someone who clearly enjoys teaching the subject and has an actual passion for it. That vibe was contagious and made the course that much more interesting to me.

Great tool to prepare you for the PTCB exam!
This course prepares those even without experience to do well on the exam. Dr. Emmel’s instruction is very thorough and easy to follow. The information is taught in such a way that it is easily understood and there are a lot of extra study opportunities for help if you are having a hard time with the concept.
Perfect refresher course!
I worked in the pharmacy 20 years ago as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, and stopped working there to raise my children. Well, now that they are grown I am ready to go back into the field that I loved! I was looking for a quick course that I could do to help prepare me for the PTCE and was elated when I found this one. The information is taught is such a way that it is easily understood and there are a lot of extra study opportunities and numerous options for help if you are having a hard time with a concept. The user interface in this course is also very friendly and easy to navigate! I feel very prepared for the PTCE, and am looking forward to my future in pharmacy again.

As I was scouting for an online educational program to become a pharmacy technician, I came across Pharmacy Tech Scholar℠. I have a second thought initially with the discounted offer but nevertheless, I gave it a try. As I started the online modules, I was amazed by how Dr. Emmel deliver the lecture, it was concise, direct to the point and he tried to make it as simple, as easy to understand to those whose background is not related to the pharmacy matters. The student will determine his own pacing to finish all required topics and exams, in order to earn a completion certificate before you can seat for the PTCE. Lucky for me that I passed the PTCE on my first attempt (Thanks to the knowledge imparted by Dr. Emmel). Everything are covered more particularly the medications, safety, jurisprudence and importantly, computation on order entry and processing. All these things thought in the program help me a lot in passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination. Kudos, I made it on take one. I would definitely endorse this program to those who are eying of becoming a pharmacy technician, especially international students and locals as well. It’s worthy of your time and money. Believe me.
