I was able to pass the PTCB in my first try! The online modules give a great foundation to everything you need to know and the PTCB is similar to the questions found on the practice exams. However about a month of reviewing all the material to actually memorize it is crucial, as there is lots to memorize.

I liked the format and the construction of the course offered by Pharmacy Tech Scholar℠. The instructor for the course, Dr. Emmel, was very easy to follow through with in his module lectures and I found the additional information he gave of the slides very beneficial to understanding what a pharmacy technician needs to know, especially preparing for the PTCE. There is a discipline of knowing the medications, safety of the patients, safety in handling medications, the laws involving medications, and even ordering medications as well. This is the one program and online course that is less costly and more effective in the material, how it was taught, and how you can teach yourself the material too! I would definitely recommend to anyone who want to pursue any branch of the pharmaceutical field and wants to get their foot into this career path by learning about being a pharmacy technician.

This course is very user friendly. It includes a lot of external resources that supplements the course for a more in-depth learning experience. The course is structured in a clear and concise manner which makes the learning experience enjoyable. Lastly, the course teacher, Dr. Emmel, is not only a great teacher, but is there for you throughout the entire course via messaging or the weekly virtual class, which has been very helpful.

This course is amazing I’m a very learn at my own pace type of person one week I may like to do 10 chapters the next none at all. You are given and end date and let go from there, but you are never truly alone Dr.Emmel holds meeting that you can join if you ever feel the need to ask questions or need clarification on anything or you can simply message him. He has always gotten back to me in a timely manner and been very engaging in the online meetings. He has made me feel like I really can pass the PTCE with no problem as long as you are willing to put in the work and time. This course is a piece of cake!

It is a very helpful class. There is a lot of important information for the PTCE and even ones beyond the PTCE, it is nice a lot of questions formatting are really similar to the PTCE.
