Renewal And Continuing Education

The Board renewal FAQ says registered pharmacy technicians are not required by the Board to obtain CE to renew registration. Certified technicians may need CE for their national certification programs.
Scope And Supervision Note
North Carolina certified-technician status can affect staffing flexibility.
A pharmacist may not supervise more than two pharmacy technicians unless the pharmacist-manager receives written approval from the Board; additional technicians allowed above two must be certified pharmacy technicians.
