This has been a great way to prepare for my certification. I’m able to go at my own pace, studying around my work schedule, and take my time without feeling rushed. The site is well-structured, with each module focusing on core aspects of what I need to know. A few of the sections provide too much information at once; but the majority of them are just the right length to not leave me feeling overwhelmed.

I appreciated the flexible nature of the lessons, and definitely feel prepared to take on the PTCE.

This course was summarized to include the important information needed to take PTCE exam. Everything was easy to follow.

Overall it is greatly organized course that thought me basics of being pharmacy technician and drugs.

Overall, I believe that this course is very helpful for learning everything required for the certification. My only change request would be to make it so people can either take the section exam if they have skipped a previous section (for example if I skipped federal requirements, then did all of patient safety in its entirety I should be able to take the exam for patient safety). I encountered this problem when I decided medications needed to be studied last as they were time-consuming and made me feel as if I wasn’t making any progress, so I skipped them to do the rest of the course, but I couldn’t take any chapter exams until I finished medications. I found them mostly easy after I finished medications and came back because I had them studied for a while, but it was annoying to have to wait to take them.

I enjoyed this course. It was very affordable and very easy to navigate. There is easy access to a professional should you have a question. As well as several different outlets are used and suggested to help prepare you for the state exam. I highly recommend!

Thank you for your course! I`m glad that pharmacist with foreign degree can start carier in th US so easily. English is my second language, but lectures were clear for me.

I am new to this, therefore the healthcare profession is not a line of work I’ve ever been involved with so consider me surprised when this course took the extra step to fill its audience in on some of the real world applications and things to look out for when the knowledge taken away from this is likely or unlikely to present itself in an actual workplace. I think that itself shows a lot about the care that was put in to structuring this course. I was fully expecting this on just helping with attaining a certification, and instead I came away with extra knowledge or awareness of things that won’t even be presented on the actual PCTB Exam itself. I appreciate that Dr. Emmel went above and beyond for his students.
